Architect Java Developer - Munich

NINIVA AG is looking for Senior Java Developer to play a leadership role. In this role you will provide architectural guidance for the development team while serving as the team’s lead developer. As the functional leader of this team, you will leverage your demonstrated experience in architecting, building, enhancing, and supporting enterprise-wide web- and portal-based applications to assist the organization in reaching its defined goals. As a system owner you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and on-going enhancement of the team’s current portfolio of J2EE web-based applications.

• Mentoring and overseeing the activities of the developers working in Munich but also in Macedonia and Greece
• Day-to-day technical support for team’s entire production environment including limited off-hours technical and release support when required
• Release planning and hands-on deployment support for all releases
• Training operations teams to effectively support applications and platforms
• Assisting the Program Management team in level-of-effort assessment, project planning, and resource allocation
• Administrative activities including status reporting, time tracking, and metrics reporting
• Championing best practices and standards in development and documentation with a commitment to quality in both
