Architect Java Developer - Munich - Experience, Education and Skills Requirements:
BS/MS in Computer Science, IS, or Engineering
5+ years of experience in J2EE/Java-based web application development
Experience installing, deploying and integrating Apache 2.x and Tomcat 5.x
Excellent Java development skills are mandatory
Demonstrable hands-on experience with J2EE/Java based web application development is required
Experience with XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS and JavaScript necessary
Working knowledge of Apache web server is required, including ability to install, configure and deploy software
Working knowledge of Tomcat servlet container is required, including ability to install, configure and deploy software
Experience with SQL/Oracle is required
Experience navigating and understanding data models is required
Experience developing and deploying web service clients and applications is desired
Superb documentation and excellent communication skills are critical and absolutely required in this role.
A willingness to participate as a leader in an organization that consistently beats project deadlines and exceed expectations
Self-motivated and driven with the ability to successfully take a project from concept to completion with limited oversight.
